"Time is Precious"
Congratulations on your
achievement as one of the area's most recognized and
respected businessman. After serving in the U.S. Army
during World War II, John Eichhorn attended the Southern
College of Watchmaking in Memphis, Tennessee. After
graduation in 1948, he returned to his hometown - Decatur,
Indiana. For 17 years he worked as the watchmaker for
Ferris Bower. In 1965 he opened Eichhorn Jewelry.
Until his death in January 2004,
he continued to serve as the president and chairman of the
board of the family business as well as continuing to repair
hundreds of watches each year.
With great pride,
Your employees
